Freiholon is a Node Operator (UNO) on the Unity Network.

By installing the Unity Network App, your smartphone helps verify global telecommunications data in the background. These automated tasks assist the network in detecting fraud and optimizing performance. In exchange for this contribution, your device earns digital rewards.

To participate, you will need a unique Lease Code and sign in as a Lease Operator. The QR code will guide you through the official app download on your phone and provide a Lease Code from Freiholon to activate your device in minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Unity is a global network powered by everyday smartphones. When you download the Unity app, your phone performs background verification tasks that help telecommunications companies detect fraud and improve connectivity - replacing the need for centralized third-party providers. By contributing to this decentralized telecom network, you earn digital rewards through the Unity app.
Digital rewards are the incentives you earn for contributing your smartphone’s connectivity to the network. For clarity, your earnings are displayed in USD terms within the app. You can currently withdraw these rewards as various cryptocurrencies, such as USDC. Unity has indicated that they are working to enable direct cash withdrawals in the future.

Rewards are variable and depend on factors such as your device’s uptime, geographic location, and the specific network tasks your phone performs. While official Unity materials provide guidance on USD amounts, rewards are expected to scale as the network expands and more tasks are introduced.

We’re on this journey together so we’ll learn more as we scale. A reasonable expectation though would be that users can cover the cost of their monthly cell phone bill through their participation. The network becomes more valuable as it grows - feel free to share the onboarding links on this page with family and friends.

No. The Lease Code costs nothing to the user, and the app can be deleted at any point.

As a Node Operator, Freiholon manages and distributes these licenses to Unity app users. While you can also obtain a free Lease Code from other operators or through the in-app Marketplace, using the QR code on this site allows you to support Freiholon directly while receiving a reward split that is more favorable than the standard terms available on the app Marketplace.

Unity does not track your personal identity or use your data the way traditional apps or phone companies might. Instead, the app performs background tasks to verify network health by collecting technical telemetry - such as signal strength and connection speeds. This data is used in a non-personally identifiable way to help global carriers detect fraud and improve connectivity for everyone.

The Unity app uses a very small amount of data to perform its background verification tasks. Because these tasks only involve sending lightweight technical "pings" and telemetry, the data consumption is typically so low that it will not be noticeable on a standard data plan.

The app is designed to be highly efficient regardless of your connection type, however, if you are connected to Wi-Fi, the app will prioritize that connection and use zero mobile data.

The Unity Network is made up of two types of participants working together:

Node Operator (UNO): A Node Operator (like Freiholon) manages and distributes licenses on the network. The Node Operator’s role helps grow the size and value of the network.

License Operator (ULO): This is the individual participant. By using a Lease Code provided by a Node Operator, you can activate a dedicated "slot" on the Unity Network using your phone. Your device then performs the technical work of verifying network signals, and you receive a portion of the rewards generated by that work.

In short: The Node Operator provides the digital slot and technical support, while the License Operator provides the smartphone to perform the verification tasks. There is no cost to the user; the "Lease" is simply the digital connection that allows your phone to earn rewards.

It is best practice to only download apps from verified sources. The Unity Network App is a secure, lightweight utility available directly through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. These platforms perform rigorous security checks on every app before they are listed.

The app is designed for transparency and efficiency; it only performs the specific functions required to verify network health and does not access your personal files, photos, or sensitive data.

Freiholon does not have access to, nor will it ever ask for, passwords, private keys, or any sensitive information. The QR code and WhatsApp bot are simply tools to help you automatically generate your Lease Code and activate your device. Any communication from us will be limited to important network updates and app improvements.
